Course Description

Leadership Certificate Program Final Presentations

This course is available to individuals who have completed the five workshops of the Strengths-based Leadership Series. To complete the certificate, participants must submit a final project plan, implement the project for thirty days, present their project at the Final Presentation workshop, and submit a Final Report.

Learner Outcomes

Participants who complete the final project will:

  • Apply strengths-based approaches to leadership
  • Apply strengths based leadership practices in the workplace
  • Demonstrate support of strengths-based principles and practices with staff

Cancellation Policy: All cancellation requests must be in writing via email to sbleader@temple.edu

For individual session payments: cancellations received up to ten (10) business days prior to the start of the scheduled session will receive a full refund. If cancellation is received nine (9) business days to the first day prior to the start of the session there will be a $10.00 processing fee assessed, and the balance paid will be refunded. There will be no refunds if cancellation is first day of session or once the session has started.

For complete certificate series bundle payments: cancellations received up to ten business days before the start of the first session will receive a full refund. Cancellations received nine business days prior to the first day of the first session will be assessed a $50.00 processing fee. There will be no refunds if cancellation is the first day of session one, or after.

TUH reserves the right to cancel continuing education events due to low enrollment. Full refund will be provided.

Weather Related Cancellations: In the event of inclement weather, TUH will make every effort to cancel events with as much advance notice as possible. Notification will be sent via email/DestinyOne once a decision to close or delay has been made. In all instances TUH will follow the University’s and/or the agency’s cancellation decisions.

This course allows access to the Strengths-based Leadership Online Presentations course via Canvas, the online learning management system used by Temple University.  Please follow the instructions in the receipt notes that you will receive after you register for the course in order to set up your Accessnet account, which will allow you access to Canvas.  Once you have connected to Canvas you will have access to all workshop PowerPoint presentations, the instructions and forms for the Final Project, and you will be able to upload your presentation online via Canvas.

This course will run from July 1, 2020 until December 31, 2020.  If you have not completed any outstanding work by December 31, you will be transferred to the next available Online Presentations course.  Please reach out to sbleader@temple.edu with any questions.
