Course Description

Have what it takes to be an outdoor survivor? This camp introduces the world of wilderness survival using ancient skills and modern tools. Campers are challenged to build natural shelters, are introduced to outdoor navigation and signaling, learn how to pack for adventures with their families, and practice the secrets of invisibility and stealth. Skills are woven into each day camps storytelling, discussions, and team challenges. Each day will include hands-on activities, discussion and a team activity.

This camp is held at the Temple University Ambler campus.

Notes

This camp is a half-day camp from 1 to 4 p.m. You may also want to consider registering for Geocaching Adventures from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you register for both GeoCaching and Wilderness Survival, at the time of registration, you will receive a $10 discount per camp.  To receive this discount, please call our office at 267-468-8500 or mail in your payment by check. No other discounts apply.

Parents, remember when you register your child for camp, you must create an account for your child. After selecting your camps and adding them to the shopping cart, when you click on "check-out" you must create an account for each child you wish to register for camp.
