Course Description

We tell stories all the time but knowing how to create a compelling tale and writing in a way that people want to read it requires mastering the craft of writing fiction and nonfiction creatively. In this course, you'll learn how to create well rounded characters that readers care about; structure a gripping plot; and write settings and scenes that come alive. You'll receive feedback from fellow students and have an opportunity to complete a work of creative non-fiction, memoir, short story or chapter of your novel.
