Course Description

Do you want to learn how to better express your oral thoughts and ideas? This camp will explore arguing in a civilized way. Students will learn how to research and create a well-thought out argument. You will also learn how to be persuasive when orally presenting the information. Debate topics can be picked on a wide scale and the debate process will be taught and executed within the camp.

This camp is held at the Temple University Main campus for rising 8th and 9th graders and the Temple University Ambler campus for rising 9th graders through 12th graders. Choose the section location, on the right, that best meets your needs.

Notes

NOTE: There are sections at both the Ambler Campus and Main Campus

  • ONCE0069-012 (Main Campus, July 27 to 31, 2020) for rising 8th and 9th graders
  • ONCE0069-013 (Ambler Campus, August 3 to 7, 2020) for rising 9th graders to rising 12th graders

Parents, remember when you register your child for camp, you must create an account for your child. After selecting your camps and adding them to the shopping cart, when you click on "check-out" you must create an account for each child you wish to register for camp.
