Course Description

The Sixth grade Math Summer Bridge program consists of 12 sessions (50 minutes each). The class covers multiplication and division of decimals; number properties including factors and multiples; multiplication and division of fractions and mixed numbers; ratios, proportions, rates, and percents; integers and absolute value; the coordinate plane; expressions, equations and inequalities; exponents and scientific notation; areas of parallelograms and right triangles; volume and surface area of right rectangular prisms; and measures of central tendency. This course is best suited for rising 6th graders.

All section are delivered live, online. Each section consists of 12 sessions, 50 minutes each. Courses are divided into either a 6-week or 3-week schedule. In addition to the scheduled class sessions, students will have access to recorded versions of each class session which can be used to preview topics, replace sessions if the student is unable to attend, or review content from a different perspective.
