Course Description

The ability to think and act strategically in the workplace is critical. In this course, you will focus on translating organizational strategy into your own work or the work of your teams and defining purposeful strategies for executing daily work and projects. You will learn to use strategy frameworks to structure your business thinking and support a mission-driven approach to your work. Possible strategy frameworks include: Porter’s Five Forces Analysis, scenario planning, and value chain analysis. Using one or more of these frameworks, you will articulate and align your work with organizational strategy. This course lays the groundwork for Measurement in a Strategic Context which explores metrics and measurement of work and projects.
