Course Description

This workshop will be an introduction to health professions beyond that of a physician or nurse. You will learn about the professional preparation, duties, and projection of future opportunities for health professions such as athletic training, rehabilitation professionals, health information management, social work, behavioral health, epidemiology, and health policy, just to name a few. You will visit various research labs and clinical classrooms for interactive and research-focused sessions.

This course is available as a Summer Institute/Intensive during Session 2.

Students attending our Summer Institutes and Intensives program choose one class to attend for the two-week session. When applying, you will first be directed to the Summer Institutes and Intensives application. Students with approved applications will be invited to pay the 10% deposit. You will be invoiced for the remaining program fee.
