Terroir is the term used by French winemakers that encompasses everything in the vineyard affecting wine grapes such as soil composition, rainfall, sunlight,
vine training etc. We will taste great wines from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa with an eye toward the soils, growing
conditions and other aspects of Terroir. We will compare them to their European counterparts to see how they differ or share the same properties
