The American Revolution – it began as a series of disagreements between a Mother Country and a group of its Colonies and exploded into a savage war that would change the world forever. This interactive course will help participants understand the events of the American Revolution and its impact on World History. We will address four major timeframes: (1) 1770 to 1775: What really caused the American Revolution? (2) 1775 to 1777: The War In the North (3) 1777 to 1778: The Philadelphia Campaign (4) 1778 to 1781: The War in the South. This course will allow participants to achieve a depth of understanding and appreciation of these amazing events that goes beyond historical analysis, showing it as a truly fascinating story of human triumph and tragedy.
