The final part of the Project Management Certificate introduces you to agile and hybrid approaches to project management. You'll revisit many of the strategies and focus areas from the previous three classes in the light of these new approaches, applying a lens of continual improvement, adaptation, and flexibility.
Please note that this course was originally scheduled to meet on Wednesday evenings in Spring 2022. The course will meet on Tuesday evenings instead, due to a scheduling conflict.
Julie Spokus, Scrum Master, is an experienced IT Specialist with over 20 years of experience. Her work experience has been in the following fields: K-12 education, higher education, legal, healthcare, and government contracting. She got her start in the IT field as a technical trainer, and then moved into agile software development as a product owner and a scrum master. She is passionate about agile software development and holds various agile certifications as well as the PMP. Julie's education includes a Master of Art in Teaching Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Mount Vernon College and a Master of Science in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia.
Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refund Policy
A participant who withdraws from a non-credit course, in writing, up to one-week prior to the starting date of the course, will receive a refund, minus a $25 withdrawal fee; for all certificate programs the withdrawal fee is $50. For courses costing $75 or less, the withdrawal fee is $10 per course. No refunds will be given after that time. E-mail your withdrawal request to: email@example.com. Please note that if you do not officially withdrawal from a course and you do not attend the course, you are still responsible for payment. Temple University reserves the right to cancel a course for any reason. If the course is cancelled, you will be notified and your entire tuition will be refunded.
