Course Description

This introduction to business writing will get you up to speed on the basics of professional, clear writing in a business context. You'll start by thinking about the different audiences that you address, and how to tailor your tone for each one and create writing that drives action. You'll review some grammar fundamentals based on your personalized writing style. Finally, you'll overview how to use e-mail in a business context, as well as how to adapt all of these principles for different written formats.

This course is self-paced, meaning there aren't any group classes or lectures. Work through the material at your own speed. You'll get feedback on some of the mini-assignments you submit. Plus, you can join the drop-in office hours to meet with an instructor to go over any points or questions that you have.
