Course Description

Take the first steps into a medium that utilizes the technology and tools to create things not possible through any other means. This workshop is structured as an introductory exploration of the applications of digital design and fabrication within the fields of art, architecture and design. Classes will be held online with remote access to Temple University's cutting-edge digital technology and design tools. Digital modeling will be taught using Rhino3D CAD software with the goal of introducing the design processes used in 3D printing and laser cutting. This workshop is perfect for those who are excited about trying something new or interested in investigating how these processes can enhance their current professional skill set. Gain insider knowledge of some of the most exciting and innovative processes taking place in the 21st century! Appropriate for beginners.
