Course Description

We're excited to announce that all instruction and ensembles will return to Temple University facilities for Fall 2021, subject to the university's public health protocols.  

Group Instruction in Strings

The Philadelphia String Project at Temple University (PSP @ TU) serves beginning young string (upper & lower) players from the Philadelphia area in this weekly 3-year program incorporating group lessons and string ensembles. Students are taught by a Master Teacher and supported by Temple University undergraduate music education and performance string interns.

No audition or previous musical experience required.

Grades:  K - 6th
Instruction in:  Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
Classes:  Saturdays, 9:00 - 11:0AM  September 25 - December 4
Winter Concert:   Saturday, December 11, Temple Performing Arts Center

Notes

All participating students are required to take part in their school string program if available.
Student must provide their own instrument.
