Course Description

It's a common misconception that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) cannot be done with children.  Not only can it be done, but it's really, really fun!  Although a baseline understanding of CBT is recommended, this training walks clinicians through how to captivatingly introduce CBT to children from ages five to 15.  It takes well-known interventions and jazzes them up to be age-appropriate, entertaining, and long lasting in their effectiveness and impact for your child (even some adult) clients.  It will also teach clinicians brand new interventions that cannot even be found on Pinterest.  There is no prior need to be artistic, just the willingness to act like a kid again for a few hours.
