Notes

All registrations, including minors, must be completed using the student's name and date of birth.
Parents/guardians should be listed as Emergency Contact.

Pre-Twinkle Classes provide opportunities for very young children to develop basic musicianship and readiness skills for success in the Suzuki approach. Music from different Suzuki instruments will be featured helping to transition students into the more formal environment of lessons as well as introducing parents to the Suzuki philosophy.  A core component of Pre-Twinkle 1 class at Temple Music Prep is Suzuki POP (Paper Orchestra Program); a variety of musical enrichment activities that mix arts and crafts with music.

This class offers children an opportunity to learn the guitar in a fun, supportive group setting.  Classes will address the basics of reading music, learning how to accompany songs,  and how to play music in a wide variety of styles!

Students must provide their own acoustic guitars and tuners.

This class is designed for children ages 8-15. (Students ages 16+ should consider Guitar for Busy Adults)

This class offers beginning students an introduction to the guitar.  Classes will address the fundamentals of finger picking and flat picking styles and introduce other techniques used in a wide variety of styles. Students will learn how to read music, accompany songs, and explore the basics of improvisation, songwriting and more!

Offered both in-person and virtual options!

Instrumentalists, vocalists of all playing levels are welcome. This class will take you on a thoughtful listening and analysis journey of classic and modern jazz.  We will focus on key components of jazz theory, history, and application, adding new concepts week over week.  This course is heavily focused on listening and analysis, however we layer in application/performance where possible.  We offer both in-person and virtual options for this course!  Ability to read music is not a requirement but is recommended.  Whether you're new to jazz, or looking to build on existing knowledge, this class give you the opportunity to engage and learn in a safe and supportive environment.
