The Tyler School of Art and Architecture Architecture program, Temple University University College and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute are offering a unique opportunity to study historic preservation in 2025.

In Havana, we’ll take a classic cars cruise along the Malecon, go on a walking tour of Old Havana – a UNESCO World Heritage site, tour La Cabaña (Fort of Saint Charles), and meet with architects, urban planners, photographers, and the City Historian’s office. In Trinidad, another UNESCO World Heritage site, we’ll meet with the Restoration Office, visit the Colonial Architecture Museum, and exchange with artists. We’ll also visit the Sugar Mill Valley, the National School of Arts, the Plaza de la Revolucion, and the Fabric de Arte Cubano arts space. All this and more while enjoying jazz, great food, and botanical gardens.

The total cost of the Cuba trip is $3,200 for double occupancy (two per room). Single occupancy rooms are available for an upcharge of $320. A deposit of $500 is required to save your place on this exciting trip.
