Course Description

Readers of crime fiction enjoy its excursion into the darkness of the human soul as well as an intelligent, well-wrought mystery. Join us as we read three such novels by celebrated masters of the genre. We begin with "Foyle’s War" creator Anthony Horowitz’s dark and intricate homage to Agatha Christie, The Magpie Murders. We follow with Richard Price’s gritty novel of urban life, The Whites. We end with the darkest of beloved Sue Grafton’s alphabet series, XFeel free to bag lunch or snack to class.
