Course Description

The PhD Teaching Academy engages PhD students in basic tenets of academic motivation theory and classroom management, content course delivery, assessment methodology and teaching-related technologies. The three or four module curriculum seeks to instill common Fox School teaching-related policies and best practices, and provides resources and support to the doctoral students who teach at Fox.

 

 

Learner Outcomes

PhD Teaching Academy Program Goal: Build effective teaching skills through organization and delivery of courses.

Prerequisites

The PhD Teaching Academy is only open to PhD Business Administration and PhD Decision Neuroscience students who have completed their second year of the program by the first day of teaching academy.  Additionally, PhD Statistics students who have their first year by the first day of the workshop may also register.
