Course Description
This workshop will focus on a variety of interventions that can be utilized when working with children using a Strengths Based Approach. Participants will learn how to connect with children in innovative and creative ways. The key to engagement is starting where the child is and capturing their attention. The use of art, written, oral and visual demonstration are just a few of the techniques we will discuss during the session. The interventions in the training will be focused on self-regulation, mindfulness, social skills, challenging clients and more. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the interventions discussed during the session.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
