Featuring local experts from education, policy research and advocacy, we will examine hot issues such as Politics and School Boards, Accountability of Charter Schools, Admission to Selective High Schools, Standardized Test Scores, Liberal Arts vs. Careerism, Enhancing Respect for Educators, Unionization of Faculty. In the first session students will vote on these topics and identify other topics in which they are interested. Each session will include a 30-minute interview with the speaker and 30 minutes of discussion.
