Course Description

In today’s society, cultural and multicultural competence are important to the professional and personal growth of our students. With the ever-changing landscape of our society, it is crucial that students understand the importance of learning about cultural, political, and social drivers that impact the ways that we and others differ from us, live our lives, and navigate the world around us. Ultimately, this allows us to build our capacity to be more inclusive, and respectful and value other societies as we do our own. The course will introduce students to the culture of Spain. In particular, students will have the opportunity to learn through an immersive in the capital city of Spain, Oveido and her historic cities.
