Course Description

Explore careers in journalism and media by reporting, writing, and publishing a variety of stories on news, information, and ideas. You'll approach topics you're interested in from the perspective of a variety of journalism careers including web reporters and producers, newspaper reporters and editors, still and video photographers, radio and television reporters and producers, and magazine writers and editors. A segment of this workshop will involve guest lecturers on covering difference, ranging from race and ethnicity to gender issues.
