Shakespeare: Two Plays

This class is designed for people who want to read plays by Shakespeare and discuss them in class. Because this term is rather short, we will do 2 plays: Twelfth Night and Hamlet. The class will be seminar-format, with discussions and reading aloud.
Pre-requisite: We will use Folger Library editions, published by Simon & Schuster.

Instructor’s Bio:
Wendy Buckingham taught English for 26 years, including a senior elective in Shakespeare. She headed the English Department at Friends Select School for 20 years. She has a BA in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature from Bryn Mawr.
