Course DescriptionThink back to the last presentation you experienced. Was it a portion of a meeting, an event, or a training program? Was it memorable…and if so, for the right reasons?
Even though few people look forward to giving presentations, the ability to deliver a well-planned and well-executed presentation has become an important technical and interpersonal skill for employees at all levels of Temple University. Although some people seem to have been born with this ability, for the rest of us, effective presentation skills must be learned, practiced, critiqued, and constantly improved.
In this workshop participants will have opportunities to:
- Review guidelines for structuring and delivering an effective presentation
- Practice presentation delivery skills in a safe and supportive environment and receive informed feedback
- Create an action plan for continuous presentation skill enhancement
