Course Description

The Loire Valley is the home of the chateaux of kings. It is the most diverse wine region in France yet not very well known. Every style of wine, from snappy sparkling wines to dry whites, to roses, reds, to long-lived sweet dessert wines is made here. We will sample wines from some of the more famous sub-regions such as Sancerre, Pouilly-Fume, and Vouvray and from some equally delicious lesser-known wines from Muscadet, Chinon and Savennieres. Come be enchanted by the lure of Loire!
