Course Description
The Women’s Leadership Series moves participants through a logical progression of skill development, with each module as a three-hour session targeting a high-impact theme in business and leadership growth. The series is ideal for women who are on the cusp of stepping into the role of director or above and who have been identified as future leaders by their organizations. Participants will leave the series with well-honed skills in strong communication, effective negotiation and confident leadership. In addition, the unique opportunity to regularly network with other professionals will help leverage participants’ potential for career advancement. If you are seeking unparalleled professional growth, this series is for you.
Sessions will be held on Temple University's beautiful suburban campus in Ambler from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET with an hour break for lunch. Each session is broken into two modules. Throughout the sessions, there will be interactive breakout work and opportunities for networking between the facilitators and participants - including a short virtual welcome event on the day preceding the first session from noon - 12:30 p.m. ET.
Course Outline
The series includes the following sessions, delivered across three days:

Session 1: Understanding & Leveraging Your Leadership Style
Session 2: Executive Presence & Communication Skills
DAY TWO
Session 3: The Art of Negotiation
Session 4: Finance for the Non-Financial Manager
DAY THREE
Session 5: Leading Organizational Change
Session 6: Career Management

This series is offered approximately 4 times a year: once each quarter, with series alternating between in-person and online delivery.
