Course Description

This course is intended to provide aspiring small business owners with an overview of many of the issues involved in planning and launching a new business venture. Topics include personal and lifestyle issues of the entrepreneur/business owner, legal, financial, tax considerations of starting a small business, and the "how-to's" of business registration and compliance issues. Attendees will also be introduced to the steps of developing a sound business plan. This pre-business course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of starting and managing a small business. The First Step benefits entrepreneurs thinking of starting a new business.
