ARTH 2432. Northern Baroque Art

Art in Holland in the age of Rembrandt, Hals, and Vermeer, the High Baroque as an international style with Rubens and Van Dyck, with artistic relations between Italy, Flanders, France, England and Spain. NOTE: Field trips are mandatory for this class.

Thank you for registering for a Senior Scholars course! The Senior Scholars program is an auditing program for Temple graduates, as well as their spouses or partners, and other friends of Temple, age 50+. As an auditor, you will not receive a grade or academic credit for this course. A few days before the start of the semester, you will receive an email confirming your enrollment and providing more information on how to get started in your course.

This course will be meeting T, TH from 2:00-3:15pm on Temple University's main campus from Monday, August 24, 2026 through Monday, December 7, 2026 in Tyler, Room B082.

Please note: classes are not held on Friday, October 9th (Fall Wellness Day) or during Fall break: November 23-27, 2026.
