Course Description

Course 4 of the Foundations in Project Management Certificate program. Participants explore Agile delivery using Scrum and evaluate their project from the perspectives of Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development Team.

  • Describe Agile principles supporting iterative delivery
  • Identify responsibilities associated with Scrum roles
  • Evaluate project priorities from a Product Owner perspective
  • Identify impediments from a Scrum Master perspective
  • Plan incremental delivery from a Development Team perspective
  • Write user stories and define a sprint goal
  • Create a basic backlog aligned with stakeholder value
  • Compare sprint-based planning with milestone-based delivery approaches
