Course Description

Recommended for research staff conducting survival surgery who have prior experience in rodent handling or those who have already taken the basic rodent techniques workshop. Hands-on training will include preparation of the surgical area; preparation of sterile surgical instruments and supplies; sterile preparation and maintenance of sterility of the surgeon; tissue handling and basic surgical techniques, including basic suturing patterns.

Meet in MERB, 5th floor Business office.

On time arrival is mandatory. The group will depart from the meeting location after 5 minutes to go to the lab on the 9th floor of MRB.
