Lunch & Learn Webinar Series (2026) 

Timely Topics. Practical Insights. Over Lunch. 

The Lunch & Learn Webinar Series offers monthly, one-hour professional development sessions designed for working professionals across industries who want to stay current, build relevant skills, and engage with timely workforce topics—without disrupting their workday. Held live on the third Wednesday of each month from 12:00–1:00 PM (ET), each session features a concise, engaging presentation followed by interactive discussion and Q&A. 

Topics span a wide range of professional and workforce development areas, including communication and business writing, leadership and advocacy, wellness and self-care, proposal and grant writing, public health and community issues, career advancement, and emerging trends shaping today’s workforce. Sessions are led by subject-matter experts, practitioners, and guest speakers who bring real-world insight and practical strategies participants can apply immediately. 

This series is ideal for professionals at all career stages seeking accessible, high-impact learning opportunities, as well as organizations and teams interested in ongoing skill development.  

Each session also highlights relevant continuing education offerings for participants who wish to deepen their learning through short courses, micro-credentials, and professional development events or conferences. Select speakers may also share additional professional development opportunities or upcoming events connected to their area of expertise. In addition, the Lunch & Learn series serves as a networking opportunity, creating space for professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from experts and peers across industries.

Future-Ready: Strategic Planning Essentials for Nonprofits 
Nonprofit leaders are navigating rapid change, shifting community needs, and increasing pressure to demonstrate impact. This power session distills the essentials of strategic planning into a fast, practical, and energizing format designed for busy executives, board members, and emerging leaders. Participants explore how a well‑structured strategic planning process strengthens decision‑making, aligns teams, and positions organizations for long‑term sustainability and growth. 

This session also serves as a preview of the Empowering Nonprofits Conference, highlighting the themes, tools, and expert-led workshops that will be explored in greater depth at the conference. Attendees will learn more about the conference agenda, featured topics, and opportunities to continue the conversation through hands-on sessions and peer learning on April 14th at Temple University Ambler.

Lunch & Learn--Spring Clean Your Career: The Power of Stackable Credentials in An Evolving Workforce
As the workforce continues to evolve, professionals are rethinking how they grow, pivot, and stay competitive—without returning to traditional, time-intensive education pathways. In this Lunch & Learn webinar, participants will explore how stackable credentials and micro-credentials can support intentional, sustainable career growth. This session invites professionals to “spring clean” outdated career narratives, gain clarity around skill development, and learn how short, flexible credentials can support career resilience in a rapidly changing world. 

This session will be facilitated by Diamond Poyer, Program Manager for Noncredit and Continuing Education at Temple University, University College. Diamond brings extensive workforce development experience managing training and internship programs, designing employment pathways through strategic partnerships with schools, community organizations, and employers, and leading higher education and continuing education initiatives. She is also a coach and learning designer who facilitates personal and professional development training, as well as group and individual coaching experiences, supporting professionals across industries as they navigate career growth, transitions, and skill development in an evolving workforce. She brings a whole-person lens to career and workforce development, informed by her consulting work supporting collective growth efforts focused on sustainability, alignment, and quality of life.
