BRIDGE – SUPERVISED PLAY

Instructor: Ellen Berkowitz

Day of Week: Wednesday

Dates: Feb 4 – April 15 (10 sessions)

Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Location: In-person at TUCC  

This Bridge course is not for beginners, however, people of all skill levels are welcome. There will be no lecture or formal teaching. When you arrive to each class, you will (hopefully) find a table with others who are at a similar skill level and then play together. A proctor will be available to circulate around the room, answer questions, make suggestions, etc. If for any reason, you cannot find people who are at your level, you are welcome to observe and ask questions.

Instructor Bio: Ellen Berkowitz has been playing duplicate bridge for about 16 years. In 2018, she became a Life Master, and then in 2020 became a Bronze Life Master. In 2018, she also became a certified Club Director.  She is on the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Unit of the American Contract Bridge League and serves as Treasurer. She has been teaching beginner bridge for several years. She currently teaches at Bala Golf Club, Germantown Cricket Club, and private homes in Center City.
