Course Description

Students will be introduced to Soul Line Dance which is known to improve cardiovascular health.  Soul Line Dance leads to better balance and coordination and enhances cognitive functioning.  It is low impact exercising that strengthens muscles while reducing stress and anxiety by releasing endorphins.  Soul Line Dance also fosters community and connection.

Instructor: Ms. Dais retired teaching mathematics after 30 years with the School District of Philadelphia.  Her hobbies include paper crafts and line dancing  She has been line dancing for over 20 years and within the last 10 taught school age children and adults alike.  Inspired by her own line dance teaches, Gloria Kincade, Marilynn Cornell and Yolanda Avant,  she enjoys introducing classical Soul Line Dance to family and friends as well.
