Course Description
This unique course is specifically designed for learners that have, virtually, no idea of how to play and have always wanted to embrace the experience…this fun and friendly beginner’s course is just for you. Learners will build a strong knowledge of basic concepts for confident play. Additionally, learners will be exposed to more ‘intermediate’ techniques and understandings for improved play. Most importantly, they will obtain a solid foundation for continued learning and lifelong enjoyment as desired.
Instructor James Smith: For decades, I have heard entirely too often, “I’ve always wanted to learn to play chess, but…”. As an avid chess player and experienced instructor, As being empowered and called to assist with fulfilling this desire, I have developed a curriculum for learning and understanding the fundamentals of playing the game of chess.
