Course Description

College of Engineering's From Trees to Tech: STEM Explorer Program is an inclusive, one-week experiential learning program designed for middle schoolers interested in exploring science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Our goal is to spark curiosity about how the world around us works and to demonstrate that learning is a lifelong journey, regardless of age.

The program features hands-on, problem-based learning experiences, contextual learning through lab tours and demonstrations, and opportunities to develop teamwork and leadership skills. Participants will collaborate with mentors from Temple's College of Engineering as they explore the interdisciplinary nature of engineering, design thinking, and problem-solving.

No matter their prior experience with STEM, students will engage in a forward-thinking program that takes an integrated approach to STEM exploration.
