Course Description

 

Students will learn various forms and methods of reading poetry and will analyze poets and different poetry styles.   Students will write their own original works.  They should bring paper or a notebook with pencils or pens with erasable ink.    

Instructor: Dana Walls is a professional in the behavioral health and human services field.  She has more than 25 years of experience working with the chronically ill and homeless populations in the city of Philadelphia.  She also has worked several years supporting youth welfare programs.  She is an alumna of Alvernia University, where she earned a graduate degree in Community Leadership.  She enjoys writing poetry and short stories.
