LAW10000 - LL.M. in Trial Advocacy Capstone in Rome
Course Description
This trip aims to enhance our students’ understanding of global advocacy by immersing them in the historical and cultural roots of our legal system. They will have a real-world learning opportunity to integrate the knowledge and skills they’ve acquired in the LL.M. program. The capstone trip will serve as a bridge between academic study and professional practice; the students will draw direct connections between Ancient Roman law and modern American jurisprudence, thereby enriching their perspective on advocacy and legal practice.
Registration & Payment Information
Administrative registration for LAW10000 – 002: LL.M. in Trial Advocacy Capstone in Rome will occur on March 15, 2025, during Summer I enrollment.
- Students must submit full payment by April 1, 2026 for official Capstone registration.
Because we must confirm participation before the University’s registration period begins, students are required to submit a $1000 deposit by February 1, 2026.
- Deposit Deadline: February 1, 2026
Deposits received by this date allow us to confirm that we have sufficient enrollment to run the program and to begin making necessary reservations. - Full Payment Deadline: April 1, 2026
- Program Cost: $2,500 ($2,000 for public interest participants)
(The deposit will be applied toward the total cost.)
