In this class you will learn about transition aftercare for yourself. How to development your emotional development. Being aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Being in control of the battle of the mind. Understanding the characteristics of rejection, fear anxiety and anger. It’s all about taking care of YOU.

Instructor: Paula Goode is a resident of the Philadelphia, Pa. and lived in the southwest section of the city. And working with the youth programs to prepare them for the next level. Her goal for life was to start a ministry for women who have been battered, abused, and live their lives in various stages. Therefore, as result of her own life, Paula started Women in Transition After Care Program at the Hillcreek Apartment complex which is also a part of the Philadelphia Housing Authority project where she resided for fourteen years. Seeing the needs of residents who were battling drug addictions and mental health many years ago Paula’s success to meet people where they lived began in 2021. Volunteering her time and energy with the residents in the building 10 Center and attending school at the same time Paula endeavored to be a Certified Recovery Specialist.
