Course Description
Your Temple orientation doesn’t have to end at Main Campus. Come and see a different side of Temple University with the OWLventure Program, an overnight experience at the beautiful Ambler Campus and Arboretum. You will build positive connections with other new Owls, develop your capacity to lead, and gain perseverance for your new TU journey through participation in multiple outdoor activities.
The program includes 1-night of tent camping plus a low ropes challenge course experience, teambuilding activities, a pool party, evening s’mores around the campfire, and more!
The program cost is $40 and includes all food and transportation to and from Main Campus to Ambler Campus. All camping gear (tents, sleeping pads, and sleeping bags) are provided. You should bring your own pillow, sheet and/or blanket if needed. Requires no prior experience – just the desire to have a great time and create lasting friendships with other incoming students!

There are 2 sections of this offering.
AMBCHAL0006-005 is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30 through Wednesday, July 1, 2026.. A Temple bus will leave Main campus at 5:30 PM on June 30, and students will leave Ambler campus on July 1 at 2:00 PM.

AMBCHAL0006-006 is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29 through Thursday, July 30, 2026. A Temple bus will leave Main campus at 5:30 PM on July 29 and students will leave Ambler campus on July 30 at 2:00 PM.
