Course Description
This prep course will utilize a combination of lecture and group discussion to assist participants in developing successful test-taking strategies and will review material in each of the content areas on the LSW and LCSW examination. This course will also include an opportunity to answer practice questions to demonstrate test-taking strategies and knowledge acquired.
Participants are provided access to the instructor's presentation slides, but a study guide for the exam content is not supplied. Current Temple students can access free study materials through Temple Libraries. Included in registration are the course presentation slides, the ASWB Exam Guidebook, and the Apgar Master's and Clinical guides. The SW ASWB Clinical Exam Prep Guide and a social work exam prep resource page are available for free online.

Learner Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:- Review material in the four content areas that comprise the ASWB Clinical Licensure exam;
- Have the opportunity to practice test-taking strategies through the use of sample questions; and
- Develop a self-directed study plan.

Instructor Biography: Lora Rhodes is a senior social worker at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Centerat Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She earned a BS inpsychology from Penn State University and an MSW from RutgersUniversity. She currently provides psychosocial support in themultidisciplinary senior adult oncology, head and neck cancer, and clinicalcancer genetics clinics, as well as serves on the lung and head and neckcancer clinical teams. She previously worked in continuing medicaleducation, where she developed educational programs for physicians,nurses, and social workers. A social worker for over 25 years, she haspresented extensively, both locally and nationally, on psychosocial issuesrelating to medical illness and aging.
