Certificate in Interior Design

The fascination with the design and decoration of the American home continues today as strongly as ever. This certificate program is for homeowners who want to make the best design decisions for their interiors, those contemplat­ing entry into the interior design industry, and current designers who wish to brush up on their skills.

Certificate requirements

To earn the certificate you must take 30 hours of courses. The courses will be split between the Fall and Spring semesters. 

• Fundamentals of Design and Layout (Fall '23)
• The Effective Use of Color (Fall '23)
• Furniture (Fall '23)
• Fabrics and Materials (Spring '24)
• Lighting and Accessories (Spring '24)

Stand-alone courses

You can also take any of our Interior Design courses as individual, stand-alone courses.

Certificate pricing

Register for all of the required course hours at the time of registration and receive a discounted bundle price, a 15% discount off the total cost of enrolling in the courses separately.
