This program introduces key concepts including project planning, stakeholder engagement, agile delivery, and risk management, equipping you to successfully lead projects, coordinate teams, manage organizational priorities, and drive results across a variety of industries. The program also provides 23 hours of project management education that may be applied toward the educational requirement for CAPM® certification eligibility.

Julie Spokus, A-CSM, PSM I, PMP, CCMP, Scrum Master, is an experienced IT Specialist with over 20 years of experience. Her work experience has been in the following fields: K-12 education, higher education, legal, healthcare, and government contracting. She got her start in the IT field as a technical trainer, and then moved into agile software development as a product owner and a scrum master. She is passionate about agile software development and holds various agile certifications as well as the PMP. Julie's education includes a Master of Art in Teaching Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Mount Vernon College and a Master of Science in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia.

Alyssia Sims, is an Enterprise Solutions Engineer in Temple University’s Office of Information Technology Services, where she has served for over six years. In her current role, she designs and delivers Microsoft training and technical support tailored to the university’s academic community. Alyssia has taught many Continuing Education courses and has taught our Final Portfolio Workshop for 4 years.
