The 2022 Policy Surveillance Institute, hosted by the Center for Public Health Law Research at Temple University's Beasley School of Law, will teach scientific legal research methods (called policy surveillance) during a three-day virtual intensive training. The policy surveillance process tracks public health laws and policies over time and across jurisdictions, using a rigorous scientific process to create data that may be used to evaluate the impact of laws and policies on health, and in public health practice.
