The 2020 Policy Surveillance Institute, hosted by the Policy Surveillance Program at the Temple University Center for Public Health Law Research, will teach scientific legal research methods (called policy surveillance) during a two-day intensive training. The policy surveillance process tracks public health laws and policies over time and across jurisdictions, using a rigorous scientific process to create data that may be used to evaluate the impact of laws and policies on health, and in public health practice.
