Leadership & Career Admissions Process Overview

2022/2023 Important Dates

  • October 3, 2022 through February 1, 2023:
    • Applications accepted for the 2023 Fall Semester.
  • February 1, 2023:
    • All applications are due.
    • Once we receive the completed application package, we will schedule applicants who meet eligibility requirements for an interview.
  • April 3, 2023:
    • Admissions decisions shared with prospective students.
  • May 1, 2023:
    • Decision deadline for admitted students.
  • June through July, 2023
    • Individual person-centered planning sessions will be scheduled and held with each incoming student.
  • August 14 through August 18, 2023
    • Mandatory Freshman Orientation
  • August 21, 2023
    • Temple University Classes begin

Leadership & Career Studies Eligibility Criteria

The Admissions Committee will review your application and determine your eligibility for the program. If you are determined to be eligible for the program, you will be scheduled for an interview. You will be interviewed by the interview team in person by yourself. After your personal interview, the interview team will meet with family members or support persons to answer any questions about Leadership & Career Studies (L&CS).

Students will be selected for admission after all interviews are completed. Please do not call about the status of your application, as we will not be able to provide this information for you over the phone. You will be notified of your acceptance status by April 3, 2023.

Note: Due to space limitations, not all applicants who complete the application and meet the criteria for admission can be accepted to L&CS.
