Set your sights on a summer in Rome!

The Temple Pre-College & B4USoar Study Abroad: Rome program is a 2 credit academic pre-college experience for students going into 10th - 12th grades. You'll experience the academics and culture of Temple University Rome Campus and see what the beautiful "Eternal City" has to offer!

Program Dates.

  • June 28 - July 9

Program Components

  • One college course (2 credits)
  • Learn about Temple University Rome Campus.
  • Explore the city and learn about the culture and history of the city of Rome.
  • Make new friends in class and through social activities and field trips.

Program Requirements

In order to be accepted into the program, students must meet the following requirements and submit the following documentation:

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Copy of High School Transcript
  • Essay
  • Recommendation
  • Zoom Interview

Program Cost

  • $5,000 - Program Fee
  • $1,940 - Flight Fee
  • Financial aid is available but very limited. Students can apply for aid on section 6 of the application.

The Apply Now button will open our Temple Pre-College Study Abroad: Rome Trip application form. You will fill out your contact information & complete the program requirements section.

What Happens Next?

  • Deadlines to submit your application are 2/14/25 (priority), 3/14/25 (regular).
  • You will be notified if you have been selected for an interview. After your interview, you will be notified of your application decision. You will have two weeks after receiving your decision to confirm your enrollment and make your initial payment.
  • Accepted students will be required to complete the next steps for admitted students.
  • B4USoar students must contact Hilda Bacon at hilda.bacon@temple.edu in addition to completing the application.
