The policies, requirements, course offerings, schedules, activities, tuition, fees, location, and calendar of Temple University Continuing Education and Non-Credit programs are subject to change without notice at any time at the sole discretion of the administration. Such changes may be of any nature, including, but not limited to, the elimination of programs, classes, or activities; the relocation or modification of the content of any of the foregoing; and the cancellation of scheduled classes or academic activities. Payment of tuition or attendance of any class shall constitute a student's acceptance of the administration’s rights as set forth in the above paragraph.
The following academic policies and procedures are specific to noncredit students. Students should also review the schoolwide academic policies and procedures.
Financial Liability Policy
Enrollment in continuing education and non-credit courses at Temple University signifies consent to, and acceptance of all policies and procedures governing enrollment, including financial liability. Students who fail to remit payment when due, agree to pay Temple University all reasonable costs for collection, to include collection agency, attorney's and court fees.
Withdrawals and Refunds
Refunds of tuition and fees for non-credit courses, if any, are made on the basis of the date and time of receipt of a student’s drop or withdrawal request. Withdrawal and refund policies for non-credit and continuing education programs will vary based on the program. Please contact the program coordinator for additional details on the program-specific policies.
Cancellations and Schedule Changes
Temple University reserves the right to cancel a course or program with insufficient enrollment. Temple University is not responsible for any cancellation or change fees assessed by airlines and travel agencies.
Note: Courses with low enrollment may be cancelled a week or more prior to the start date, thus early registration is encouraged.
