Course Description

Go back through history to examine events that forever changed the world. History is not necessarily about what happened as it is about what could have happened. Learn about great individuals, ideas and events. Some events were the result of human design, while others had no grand plan. The course will highlight politics, culture, religion, economics and society. The criteria for the inclusion of a great event is — was it recognized at the time; did it change the course of history; and is it still impacting the world today.

Presented by James H. Robertson, who holds an MA in Modern European History from Washington State University and is an Adjunct Professor of History at Eastern University.
