CHARLES DARWIN LECTURES AND DOCUMENTARIES

March 15 - April 12  | Session 2

This five-session class will continue to explore the life and influence of Charles Darwin who is often regarded as one of the 19th century’s most influential scientists. Each class will consist of an instructor introduction followed by a 45-60-minute-long video featuring a lecture or documentary about Charles Darwin or one of the scientists who influenced Charles Darwin including Captain Robert FitzRoy and Alfred Wallace Russell. Following each video there will be additional instructor comments and and an opportunity for class discussion and questions. The lectures and documentaries to be shown will be completely different from those shown in the Fall Semester class and there is no need to have taken the Fall Semester class to take this Spring class.
