The York Opioid Collaborative in partnership with Temple University is hosting a free first responder opioid training.
This event has been approved for 6.5 hours of continuing education credits for ALS and BLS providers under the "other" category.
Topics include:
- Pathophysiology of addiction
- Safety considerations for first responders
- Trauma-Informed Care
- Motivational interviewing
- Local personal stories

Continuing Education:
If you are interested in receiving a certificate of Social Work continuing education, the following steps must be completed:
- View and complete the CE Request Form indicating either a request for social work CE's or CEU's
- Attend and sign the attendance roster for all six modules
- Complete and submit a Training Evaluation (Please use your full name and date on each evaluation).
Social Work Continuing Education:
Temple University Harrisburg is a PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors pre-approved provider of continuing education. Therese credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW/LCSW/LMFT/LPC biennial license renewal.
